Hume Community News 10/16/18

The Independence Methodist Church will be hosting a reunion at the Legion Hall in Hume on Sunday, October 21. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. with the meat and drink provided. Those attending are asked to bring a vegetable or dessert. A program will follow the lunch and a time capsule will be opened at that time. An offering for care of the cemetery will be taken. Hume United Church News: Approximately 40 kids are attending Kid’s Klub each week. We are having a great time each week with lessons, singing, dancing and of course refreshments. The kids call it “Chicken Patty Church Day”; Chicken Patties is on the menu for lunch on Wednesday’s at school.

The Annual Lord’s Acre Day BBQ and Auction will be held on Saturday, November 3 in the Church Basement. The meal will start at 11:00 a.m. and the auction will start at 1:00 p.m. There is always lots of laughter, food and fellowship when we get together for the Lord’s Acre Day event
