From the Bates County Memorial Hospital

OPERATION SOCK-IT-TO-ME HAUL

Thank you, Bates County Community and BCMH employees, for helping our Auxiliary collect SO MANY socks for local children in need! The socks have all been delivered to Adrian, Ballard, Butler, Hume, Miami and Rich Hill schools for distribution. It warms our hearts to think of kids enjoying cozy, new socks for the holidays.

Last week, several of our Auxiliary Volunteers gathered to do the work of sorting the collected socks. Pictured, from left, are Mildred Chenault, Pat Friederich, Cindy Woods and Dorothy Keene. They made short work of this pile, ensuring we sent a balanced amount of sizes for girls and boys grades K-12.

We also appreciate everything our Auxiliary Volunteers do here at the hospital, but in reality they are working for the patients and visitors of BCMH. Give our volunteers a shout out with a share, or thank them in the comments for their service.
