Public Service Announcement
Although a holiday, both the Butler Senior Center and Senior Taxi are in operation today, Friday, November 11th.
The Center is open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Senior Taxi hours: 9 am to noon and 1 to 3 pm.

Preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Peggy Wheeler and brother Mark Wheeler.
Marsha suffered many illnesses the past few years of her life, her family takes great comfort in knowing she is at peace.
She is survived by her husband, Lenny Davis of the home; 3 children, Katherine Hansen and significant other, Blayne Kesse, Atchison, Kansas, Russell Barr, Warrensburg, Missouri, Angela Barr, Kansas City, Missouri; a granddaughter, Amber Spradley; 5 brothers, Michael Wheeler, Bonner Springs, Kansas, Lawrence Wheeler, Kansas City, Missouri, Lance Wheeler, St. Clair, Missouri, Matthew Wheeler, Hays, Kansas, Stephen Wheeler II, Kansas City, Missouri; three sisters, Leslie Spegal, Kansas City, Missouri, Lisa Swigart, Archie, Missouri, Mercie Ritter, Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:30 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Butler Senior Center Hosting Dance
The Butler Senior Center will be holding a Senior Dance on November 17th starting at 7:00 pm. Music will be provided by The Hideout Band and admission is $5.

Appleton City man arrested in Henry County
On 11/10/16 around 4:15pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County arrested 20 year old Kaleb J. Roth of Appleton City, Missouri.
Mr. Roth was arrested for 1.) Leaving the scene of a accident 2.) Driving while suspended.
He was cited at the scene and later released.

Adrian man arrested after rollover accident in Bates County
On 11/10/16 around 11:11pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 27 year old Justin L. Hough of Adrian, Missouri.
Mr. Hough was arrested for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated resulting in a accident 2.) Driving While Suspended 3.) No seat belt.
He was released from the arrest to receive medical treatment at Bates County Memorial Hospital for injuries he received in the accident.

Adrian man seriously injured in Bates County rollover crash
On 11/10/16 around 10:40pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle accident on County Road NW 1503 just South of County Road NE 11004 in rural Bates County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Chevrolet driven by 27 year old Justin L. Hough of Adrian, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway before returning to the road and traveling off the right side of the roadway striking a fence and overturning.
Mr. Hough sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Adrian Tire.
