From The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill

From NWS Pleasant Hill: The next two days will feature quite a bit of rain in the region. Rain will prevail this morning. Should the rain clear the area early enough in the day, we will have the potential for strong to perhaps severe thunderstorms to redevelop this afternoon and evening. The main hazards are large hail and damaging winds.

We may have a break in the rain overnight, with rain moving back into the area for Friday. It's possible that this activity may also be strong to severe. 1-4" inches of rainfall will be possible through Friday night, and this rain may lead to significant river flooding.
