Clinton man arrested for Class D Felony

On June 5, Jacob Linthicum, 21, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class D felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and an unclassified felony of armed criminal action. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. 

The warrant was issued on June 1 and stemmed from an incident in April 2014 when Linthicum allegedly pointed a rifle at Paul Shrik in an angry or threatening manner. 

Mr. Shirk was attempting to repossess a 2004 Mitsubishi passenger car from property located near the B Highway and M Highway junction, Appleton City, when the incident occurred.
