We want to join all of our citizens in celebrating Independence Day
and would like to remind everyone to be safe while using and enjoying
fireworks! We have received several inquiries on the city ordinance regarding the use of fireworks within the city limits. It is referenced below.
- Section 205.220 Ord. No. 3235 §1, 8-5-2013
No person shall discharge any fireworks within the corporate limits of
the City without a permit except during the period of July 1 to July 4.
No fireworks shall be discharged during this period except between the
hours of 7:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. on July 1 through July 3 and 7:00 A.M.
to 12:00 Midnight on July 4.
