Minnie F. Vaughn, age 92, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Monday,
July 11, 2016 at her home in Warsaw. A visitation will be held
Thursday July 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Reser Funeral Home in
Warsaw.
Funeral services will then be held 1:30 pm Saturday, July 16,
2016 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler, Missouri (660-679-0009).
Visitation will be held prior to services on Saturday from 1:00 pm to
1:30 pm also at Mullinax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem
Cemetery, Foster, Missouri. Messages of condolence may be left for the

Minnie was born on
December 9, 1923 the daughter of Gus and Gladys (Woodfin) Strait. She
grew up in Rich Hill and graduated from Rich Hill High School. Minnie
was united in marriage to Wesley Donald Vaughn. They made their home in
Lee's Summit, Missouri where she was employed as a line worker for
Western Electric. After their retirement, they made their home in Warsaw
and spent their winters in Brownsville, Texas. She was a member of the
Spoonbill Quilters Club, the DAM Painters (Decorative Artists of
Missouri) and the Ozark Rug Hookers.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Jack Edward Vaughn and a sister Norma McCaw.
She
is survived by a son Larry Vaughn and his wife Barbara, of Warsaw, a
daughter Diane Sharp and her husband Jerry, of Warsaw, a daughter-in-law
Judy Vaughn of Belton, Missouri, six grandchildren, numerous great
grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
