Russell J. Hann, age 64, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 a his home surrounded by his wife and two sons in Clinton, Missouri. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, July 28, 10:30am at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, with visitation Wednesday, July 27, 7:00-8:30pm at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Mercy Cancer Research and can be left in care of the funeral home. Russell J. Hann, son of John and Marjorie (Payne) Hann was born December 12, 1951 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Russ served in the U.A. Army from 1971 to 1973. He worked for Jim Price Construction and Pathways as the Environmental Director for over 20 years. He also was instrumental in starting Hann Make Calls.

Russ loved to fish, hunt, do woodworking and ride his Harley. He was also a scuba diving specialist. Russ was a member of the Clinton Elks Lodge No 1034 and the American Legion Post NO.14, Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his foster, Dean and Doris Orcott, and his foster brother, Jay Orcott.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda of the home; two sons, Jacob Hann of Clinton, Lucas Hann of Ozark, Missouri, two grandsons, Mason Hann and Alex Hann.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
