POTTERSVILLE, Mo. (AP) - A south-central Howell County, Missouri man is dead after a fire destroyed his mobile home in Pottersville, Missouri (10 miles West of West Plains Missouri). The Ozark Radio Network reports firefighters were called to the home just before noon on Monday.
The man was pulled from the home and emergency responders performed CPR but couldn't revive him. A rabbit and two cats also were killed in the fire.
The Missouri State Fire marshal has been called in to investigate the cause of the blaze.
His identity was being withheld until the investigation is complete.
