Rockville man arrested after Cass County police chase ends in Johnson County

Vehicle pursuit initiated in Cass County ends in Johnson County with the arrest of a 46 year old male from Rockville, MO. 

Johnson County deputies entered the pursuit near TT and T highway, just south of Kingsville at 3:00am this morning. 

The vehicle failed to yield for Johnson County deputies and travelled east on SW 500 road to 131 highway. The vehicle continued south on 131 highway and left the roadway at the intersection of 131 highway and SW 2 highway. 

The vehicle drove through a field and entered back onto 2 highway and traveled east on 2 highway. The vehicle came to a stop near Chilhowee as the vehicle departed the roadway as it turned south onto SW 151 road from 2 highway. 

The male driver was arrested for Probation Violation out of Bates County for possession of a controlled substance, Probation Violation out of Platte County for Fraud, Failure to Appear out of Henry County for possession of dangerous drugs. 

Johnson County deputies placed the male subject on a twenty four hour hold for possession of a controlled substance, failure to yield for emergency vehicle and felony driving while revoked. The male subject is being held at the Johnson County Jail.
