Drug arrested made in Henry County

 Just after 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, Deputy Oaks was dispatched to the business in the 200 block of NW Highway 7 on a report of suspicious activity. Deputy Oaks encountered two subjects at that location and determined that they both had active arrest warrants. 

After both subjects were arrested on the warrants, Deputy Oaks applied for and received a search warrant to search a storage building where the subjects had been taken into custody. Several items of drug paraphernalia as well as a quantity of suspected methamphetamine was recovered during the search.

Matthew Hall, age 29, Clinton was arrested on Henry County warrants for robbery 1st degree, possession of a controlled substance and a Clinton Municipal warrant for possession of a controlled substance. 
He was also arrested on a 24 hour investigative hold for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Audrey Shearer, age 25, Clinton was arrested on a Clinton Municipal warrant for defective equipment and a Benton County warrant for assault. She was also arrested on a 24 hour investigative hold for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both subjects remain incarcerated in the Henry County Detention Center. Assisting at the scene was Deputy Townsend, Deputy Dugan and Sheriff Oberkrom.
