Rachel June Harmon, 74, Nevada, MO passed away on September 7, 2016 at her home in Nevada. Rachel was born October 8, 1941 in rural Horton, MO to Walter Sewell and Opal June (Webster) Harmon. Rachel was raised in Horton and attended school in Metz. After her father’s passing in 1958 she along with her mother moved from the family farm to Nevada. Rachel continued to attend school in Metz and graduated High School with the Class of 1959. Following high school Rachel worked at Key Industries in Nevada for 40 years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, sewing, reading, and was a member of the Genealogical Society in Nevada. Rachel also attended the First Christian Church in Nevada.
Survivors include two great-grandsons, Dustin Dulier, and Justin Dulier, both of Nevada. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Harmon Dulier; and one nephew, Randy Dulier.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
