Police investigating suspicious fires in Cass County

An investigation is currently underway at this time in Cass County to determine the cause of two police officers home who went in flames last week.

The fire looks suspicious at this time and one of the officers is a member of the Harrisonville Police Department.

Harrisonville Police Sergeant Geremy Pearce`s home who he shares with his girlfriend, who`s an officer with a different police agency house brunt to the ground and was a total loss.

Sgt. Pearce got the call early Sunday morning while he was working the overnight shift that his house was on fire.
