The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Chevrolet driven by 21 year old Kristin M. Gilbert of Independence, Missouri ran off the roadway and overturned into a creek.
Kristin M. Gilbert along with a passenger in her vehicle 14 year old Caleb A. Russell of Independence, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by TCB Wrecker of Nevada, Missouri.
