Cass Career Center EMT Program receives donation

Earlier this year, the Cass Career Center EMT program received a donation in the form of an ambulance box from Osage Ambulance in Linn, Missouri. The acquisition was coordinated through West Peculiar Fire Protection District Fire Chief Lewis Young who sits on the EMT program’s advisory board.

Today, that ambulance box got a permanent home at CCC. The box provides the opportunity for real life simulations to be integrated into the classroom setting. It will help prepare students to function in and around an ambulance before entering clinical rotations and ultimately into the field of EMS.
