The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1979 Chevrolet truck driven by 60 year old Daniel D. Berning of Sheldon, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Mr.Berning sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Mike's Wrecker Service.
