The City of Belton was thrilled to celebrate the ground breaking ceremony for the new 83-room, four-story Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott located just north of Highway 58 between Mullen Rd. and I-49 (behind Walgreens).
Salina Hotel Corporation is the developer. The targeted opening date for the 48,000 square foot hotel is early 2019. Additional retail pad sites are available.
This project includes the construction of a new east-west access road adjacent to the existing retail development on the south (Walgreen's, Arby's and Chipotle). This new road will greatly improve access to those businesses and will alleviate congestion on Highway 58.

The new road will be constructed utilizing future revenue generated by the new hotel, via a newly established Community Improvement District (CID).
