The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1997 Ford Focus driven by driven by 20 year old Thorn M. Thomas of Osceola, Missouri lost control and traveled off the right side of the roadway.
Mr. Thomas along with a passenger in his vehicle 27 year old Cheryl D. Schmutz of Clinton, Missouri both sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.
