While Deputy Clemons and Sheriff Shaw responded to the vehicle, which was reported to be out of gas to make contact with the driver of that vehicle, Corporal Butler went to make contact with the possible owner of the vehicle. When Deputy Butler arrived at the owners residence the owner confirmed that his truck should be at his house and it was, in fact, missing.
Deputy Clemons and Sheriff Shaw who was out with a subject who was driving or operating the vehicle confirmed with Deputy Butler the truck was the one that was Stolen and the subject Louis Stockdale was arrested for Stealing/Possession of a Motor Vehicle.
