The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when 2002 Saturn SL driven by 32 year old Ethel D. Dyke of Harrisonville, Missouri traveled across the center line of traffic and struck the 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by 20 year old Morgan L. Lemka of Harrisonville, Missouri head on.
Two children in Saturn sustained minor injuries in this accident and both the 4 year old and 6 year old were transported by Central Cass EMS to Children's Mercy Hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow of Harrisonville, Missouri.
