We're fine tuning the forecast for Saturday, when a cold front is expected to move through the area. Much of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas will see a good chance for showers and storms, around 50%, during the afternoon hours. The greatest chances will then shift southward from east central Kansas through central Missouri during the evening hours. Precipitation should end from north to south during the overnight hours. While widespread severe weather is not expected, the strongest storms could produce strong and gusty winds, especially during the afternoon hours.
