Butler students raise over $700 for Health Foundation

The Interact Club of Butler High School held an event on April 2, 2015 to raise money for the Bates County Community Health Foundation. The Foundation and Bates County Memorial Hospital recognize the importance of keeping students healthy as they participate in athletics, by providing health screenings each summer and funding the IMPACT program, a concussion screening used to determine if kids are safe and healthy to return to play after a head injury has occurred.

Various activities were held this day for teachers and students including $1 request a song during lunch and a silent auction for teacher parking spaces. Pictured above are students who won the bid for teacher parking spaces. Students raised over $700.00.
