Two Nevada juveniles arrested in vandalism case

Two Nevada juveniles have been apprehended in connection to a vandalism case. Nevada Police Department Officials say, Nevada PD have concluded an investigation of a vandalism case on the Nevada Square. Officials say, on Tuesday, member of the Nevada Osage Masonic Lodge, located in the 200 block of West Walnut, were attending a meeting when they heard banging and scratching noises form from an exterior wall of the building. Reports indicate several members went outside to investigate and discovered two juvenile females scratching the painted walls with graffiti. Officials say, Lodge member stopped the vandalism and detained the juveniles and notified police. After officers arrived on scene, they conducted an investigate and referred the offenders to the Juvenile Office for further action. The two juvenile's names have not been released. Nevada Chief of Police Graham Burnley says, he greatly appreciates the swift action from the Masons in the matter. Chief Burnley also encourages area residents to report criminal activities to the Nevada Police Tip Hotline at 417-448-5117.
