Shed fire in Garden City

Earlier today, Chief Thomas R. Alber of the Garden City Police Department was driving through the 500 block of 10th Street in Garden City when he spotted a garden shed on fire. With the help of Robert Stein who lives in the neighborhood, they created an old fashioned bucket brigade and were able to keep the fire from spreading until Garden City Fire Department was able to arrive.

Chief Alber was able to determine the cause of the fire was accidental.
