The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with the Cass County Sheriffs Office responded to a 1 vehicle rollover accident around 9:20 pm on Southbound I-49 at mile marker 165 in Cass County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Honda driven by 25 year old Devin L. Shepard of Harrisonville, Missouri traveled off the roadway overcorrected, the vehicle then crossed the highway and overturned several times ejecting the driver.
Devin Shepard sustained serious injuries in this accident and was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
