The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued information on recalls in the last few days on at least 10 Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards due to fire hazard.
Most of the problems seem to stem from the lithium-ion battery packs
You can find more information on the recalls by going to www.cpsc.gov and clicking on recalls.
This website will give the information on the product to include a description, a picture, number and type of incidents with the product, and the remedy for the consumer.
You can also sign up for notifications via email of all recalls issued.
