Benjamin Friend Shooting Investigation Update-
Day 2 of the Metro Squad has investigators following up several leads but it has been brought to our attention that there is confusion regarding the vehicle of interest and the location.The vehicle is believed to be a newer model sports coupe red in color with black rims and tinted windows and a loud exhaust. The location of the shooting was on S. Prospect Ave. in the 16400 blk., but we have information that both vehicles were traveling west on MO 150 Hwy prior to turning south onto Prospect Ave.
Again we are asking anyone who might have been in the area and witnessed anything to contact the TIPS hotline or the Belton police department at (816) 348-4470 (816) 331-1500.
