Accused killer escapes from Missouri jail

Several Police Agencies in Missouri are currently searching for Daniel Campbell who escaped from jail on Monday evening.

He apparently escaped  when a door was left open while some construction work was being done in the the Texas County Jail which is located in Houston, Missouri ( Southern Missouri) 

Mr. Campbell was using a telephone when he noticed the door was open and made a escape wearing only a orange and white jail uniform and no shoes at the time.

Daniel Campbell may have stolen a vehicle about 8:30. It's a 1997 black Dodge extended cab pickup with a red camper shell that was parked near the Big Piney Sportsmen's Club. The owner told officers that a deer rifle was inside.

According to Court Documents found online Mr. Campbell is charged with first-degree murder for the death of Billy Bishop II, 38, and first-degree assault for injuries to William Dumboski, 55. 

If you see Mr. Campbell please call 911 or the Texas County Sheriff's Office at 417-967-4165 and do not make contact with him as he could be considered armed and dangerous.
