Nevada Police Serve Search Warrant Locate Wanted Suspect & Narcotics

The Nevada Police Department are currently conducting an investigation in regards to a narcotics violation that occurred on Thursday, November 24, 2016

On 11/24/16 on-duty Nevada Patrol officers had been conducting follow ups in the early morning hours on mid-night watch. During this time they developed information leading them to a local business at 1403 E Austin Blvd. in regards to a wanted subject staying in a RV at that location, and distributing narcotics from the motor home.


Nevada Police went to the location to conduct a follow up when they observed an unknown subject open the RV door and then close it quickly as the patrol car pulled up. The subject inside refused to cooperate with law enforcement.

Officers contacted the Vernon County Prosecuting Attorney, and applied for a search warrant to the Vernon County Associate Court for the motor home. While applying for the warrant the wanted subject gave herself up and surrendered to officers.

While applying for the warrant Vernon County Deputies assisted the Nevada Police Department. Officers executed the warrant on the motor home and located suspected methamphetamines, and several other drug paraphernalia related items inside.

The wanted subject was identified as, Nevada resident, 28 year old, Tallie Moscato. She had multiple warrants for her arrest out of Vernon County. The following warrants had been issued prior to this incident on Moscato, Identity Theft, B Misdemeanor, $500 cash only bond. Forgery, C Felony, $5,000 cash or surety bond. Possession of a controlled substance, C Felony, $10,000 cash or surety bond.

More charges have been sent to the Vernon County Prosecuting Attorney for review on this case. The investigation is on-going and other charges may be filed on other subjects in the following weeks.

The suspected methamphetamine will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol laboratory for further testing.
