Oklahoma earthquake felt locally last night

Around 11:30 last night another earthquake near Pawnee, OK was felt as far away as Kansas City, including a few reports rumbling could also be felt locally.

The magnitude 4.5 quake was similar to the one that occurred in the same area about two months ago on a quiet Saturday morning.

Although there have been no local reports of damage, we've been hearing that indoor pets may have detected the movement, and behaved a little strangely for a few minutes.

State regulators believe the earthquakes are related to underground 'disposal wells' that are used in conjunction with oil and natural gas production. In light of this, some of the wells have been ordered shut down to help resolve the issue.
