Scam Alert In Henry County

On Tuesday, May 23, 2017 the Henry County Sheriff's Office was alerted by several citizens that they had received phone calls from persons identifying themselves as members of the Henry County Sheriff's Office and they had warrants that required a payment or they would be arrested.

We DO NOT call anyone about warrants they may have. This is a scam! DO NOT follow their directions. "I called the number back and when I told them I was the Sheriff of Henry County and I did not recognize their number or voice as an employee, they promptly hung up", Sheriff Oberkrom said.
