Theft reported at Appleton City Manor

On May 23, a St. Clair County deputy took a theft report at Appleton City Manor, Appleton City. Charles Conway explained they were cleaning out a storage unit on May 22, and employees left equipment from the storage unit outside to be taken to the recycling yard the next morning. He stated a witness saw people taking items and putting them into a car and driving off.

The missing items included a metal step ladder, bed rail pipe bars, three trash can lids, one wheelchair, a metal dish rack, three roller walkers, a container of walker parts, one video monitor, one metal heater unit, one stainless steel radiator, metal window frames, three shop lights. The value of the items was estimated at $75.
