Anonymous tip leads to drug arrest in Nevada

Nevada Police have concluded an investigation in regards to drug possession. On Friday morning a Nevada Police Detective received an anonymous tip on his department phone in regards to a known female subject having illegal drugs. The anonymous caller went into detail with the information that lead police to believe it was creditable.

The subject in question was known by Nevada Police to have a felony drug warrant for her arrest from a previous investigation from weeks prior. The information was relayed to a patrol officer who went to the residence in question, located in the 600 block of North Hoffman Street.

Officers made contact with the female subject at the residence. While speaking with the suspect it was discovered illegal drugs were inside the residence. Officers located a large amount of illegal drugs inside the home, and other drug related paraphernalia was found.

The female was taken into custody on the felony drug warrant out for her arrest. She was transported to the Vernon County Jail.

Officers submitted additional charges to the Vernon County Prosecuting Attorney for the drugs found today, and another warrant was issued for the suspect.

The suspect was identified as; Nevada Resident, 18 year old, Emily A Middleton.

The Vernon County Associate Court issued the following charges on Middleton; Possession of a Controlled Substance.
A bond was set at $7,500 cash only.
