BCMH Auxiliary Makes $21,000 Donation to Bates County Memorial Hospital

Photo #1
The BCMH Auxiliary donated $21,000.00 to the hospital to purchase exercise equipment for the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Departments.

The funds also will be used to update televisions in the patient rooms, patient recliners and wheelchairs, and to purchase a special instrument called a Tonometer to assess trauma to the eye for the Emergency Services Department.

Proceeds from a variety of fundraisers held throughout the year, as well as Gift Shop sales, help to fund their donations.

The hospital thanks our volunteers for their generous donation. Our volunteers are individuals who think of others first and freely give of their time to help make BCMH such a wonderful hospital.

You can support the BCMH Auxiliary by joining and volunteering at the hospital.

Call 660-200-7044, or pick up a Volunteer application at the hospital Information Desk in the front lobby.
