The heat will continue today with temperatures in the low 90s and heat index values near 100°F. The chance for thunderstorms will return tonight with a line of storms expected to move into NW Missouri late tonight into Wednesday morning.
Some of these storms my be strong to possibly severe with damaging winds being the main threat.
