Attempted Robbery/Stabbing in Adrian

The Adrian Police Department along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Adrian Fire Department are on scene of a attempted robbery/stabbing at the produce stand on Old 71 Highway and 3rd Street in Adrian.

The suspect who was described as a white male in his 30s with shaggy hair and a gray tank top and cargo shorts also tan skin with black hair with a possible white strip down the hair fled from the scene on foot and police are canvasing the area searching for him at this time.

One female victim is said to have suffered stab wounds and she was transported by Bates County EMS and then Life Flighted to a KC Area hospital.
