The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 55 year old Robert D. Fox of Harwood, Missouri swerved to miss a horse drawn vehicle without lights that was in the roadway and ran off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.
Mr. Fox sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Phillips Towing of Nevada, Missouri.
