From the Louisburg Kansas Police Department

In the early morning hours on August 9, 2018 the City of Louisburg had two residential burglaries while the residents were home. The information from the victims regarding the intruder’s description was a male subject, slim build approximately 5’10 unknown ethnicity with possible short or balding hair. When the intruder was observed or confronted by the residents he fled from the homes. Both of the burglaries occurred a few blocks from each other. Officers responded and collected evidence that will be processed and the investigation is ongoing.

The Louisburg Police Department would like to remind everyone to lock your doors and windows as it is believed that this is how the intruder entered into and fled from the residences.
