Survey coming for parents of Butler school students

In the near future, parents of Butler kindergarten through 8th grade students will be receiving an important survey as City of Butler and Butler R-V schools are working on the Safe Routes to School grant. Up to $250,000 will be awarded to help provide safer conditions for students as they travel to school. To qualify for the grant, it must be determined how many students walk or ride bikes to school. Areas of primary interest for improvement in include sidewalks and crossings on Fulton, High and Nursery streets. Please take the time to fully complete and return the survey; a completion rate of at least 80% is needed in order to qualify for the grant.
