The Alpacas for Autism Fall Festival was underway this weekend offering the opportunity for children and their families alike to experience the gentle nature of alpacas and learn more about them. Tina and Bob Cochran of rural Adrian run the operation that enjoyed a steady flow of traffic this weekend as folks came from all over to see the alpacas along with fainting goats, a llama and spinning wheel operators. Social Skills Training:
We partner alpacas with individuals with autism in social skills training classes on our ranch in Adrian, MO.
Fiber Arts Training:
We offer classes in fiber arts skills, knitting, crocheting, felting, yarn spinning, and more!
Family Friendly Events:
Fun events for all ages with fiber arts demonstrations, shopping, crafts, alpacas, games, auctions, even goats!
Camp Encourage:
Funds raised through our program also support a summer camp for youth with Autism (www.CampEncourage.org)
