St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Rich Hill Man Arrested

Timothy Runions

On July 29, Timothy Runions, 23, Rich Hill, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on four misdemeanor charges, operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle sounding siren and displaying lights, second degree property damage, and resisting or interfering with arrest, detention or stop. A court date of Aug. 15 was given and bond is set at $1,000 cash only.

The charges stem from an incident on May 23 at the Schell Osage Conservation Area when a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputy assisted a Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) agent on a call. It was noted there were reports of a vehicle being operated in a careless and imprudent manner. When MDC attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, it attempted to flee the area. After an estimated one to two miles, the vehicle pulled over and contact was made with Runions, who was driving the vehicle.
