Looks like our run of pleasant temperatures
and dry weather might be coming to an end over the next couple of days.
Temperatures will be climbing back to around seasonally normal values as
today's readings climb into the 80s and lower 90s. ...With
the warmer air will come an increasing threat from thunderstorms today,
with a nearly 80% chance of rain expected by late tonight along the
Iowa border. Tonight's storms could bring torrential rain with the
potential for localized flooding. The threat for thunderstorms will
persist into the day Saturday, with strong to severe thunderstorms
possible.
