A cold front will move through the area Saturday afternoon and evening, and bring with it a chance for scattered thunderstorms. A few of these storms may be on the strong side with small hail and strong winds of 4o to 50 mph. Storms should form in northern Missouri during the early afternoon hours. Storms will move southward with the front, getting from the KC area to northeastern Missouri by the early evening. Precipitation chances will end from north to south overnight leaving a dry and pleasant Sunday for the region.
