| On July 25th 1867 at about 7pm, what would become Butler Lodge #254, meet for the first time under dispensation from the Missouri Grand Lodge, elected and installed officers and scheduled regular meetings. On July 25th 2017 at 7pm, 150 years after that first meeting, Friends, Family and Brothers gathered together with the some of the members and officers of Butler Lodge #254 to honor those men and the many Brothers that came after, with a toast on the corner of the site of the very first meeting. This begins our year long celebration of the Lodge's 150 anniversary. We will continue to hold public events in our community throughout the year with a very big event planned for June of 2018. We are all honored to share this with the community that this Lodge has served for the last century and a half. |
