The suspects fled in a vehicle and crashed between Rockhaven and the northbound lanes of I-49 about a mile north of Harrisonville. One suspect was located hiding under an overpass bridge near the location and taken into custody.
Multiple law enforcement officers from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Archie Police Department, Harrisonville Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted in a large area search for the second suspect. The second suspect remains at large. Deputies are following up additional leads.
