Weekend Plans? Watch out for Saturday!

Looking forward to the weekend? Well, start making your plans now. Friday will be quite nice, with a bit of a break from the pop up thunderstorms that have bubbled up across the region over the past few days. 

However, Saturday will be a bit problematic, as there may be some storms across eastern Kansas and western Missouri Saturday morning. 

We expect Saturday morning storms to fade away by the afternoon, but they will help set the stage for possible severe thunderstorms in extreme northeast Kansas and far northwest Missouri (generally north and west of I-35) late in the afternoon through the evening of Saturday. 

For Sunday, there may be a few lingering storms in the morning, but they should clear away quickly enough to leave a really nice day behind for the end of the weekend.
