The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Dodge Ram driven by Justin R. Newkirk was northbound on Route B when the cargo on his trailer shifted and partially came off the trailer and into the southbound lane where it was struck by a 2017 GMC driven by 46 year old Amy D. Jordan of Urich, Missouri.
Amy D. Jordan sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Golden Valley EMS to St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.
The GMC was totaled and towed from the scene by Golden Valley Wrecker Service of Clinton, Missouri.
