Our younger players finished the second half and played well to maintain that advantage and finish the game. The game was controlled by our offensive and defensive lines once again and helped create 5 turnovers and 2 blocked punts for the win. The real fun however begins now with postseason play beginning this Friday.
I do want to give a huge shout out to our younger kids this year for an outstanding year. The JV went undefeated and have done a quality job preparing our Varsity each and every week by giving our older guys quality reps.
We fortunately or unfortunately - however you see it - won't play this Friday because we won our district and receive a bye the first round. We will play at home in 2 weeks against the winner of St. Michaels and Versailles. Thanks to all for supporting us and look forward to seeing you in two weeks where these boys will try to bring more pride to this community by continuing there winning ways and quest for a State Title.
