Taylor, originally from Lawson, MO, graduated from the University of Central Missouri. This will be Taylor's first official year of teaching, but she is familiar with the district as she was a student teacher last year in 1st grade at Henry.
Taylor is very close to her family, and she has four sisters that are excited to come and help her prepare her classroom. She also has three labs back home; Charles, Cooper, and Captain. Some of her favorite hobbies are hanging out with her sisters and friends, getting ice cream, crafting, shopping, and relaxing at home.
"I’m from a small town that has a strong community, which drew me to Clinton! I am so excited to work in the Clinton School District. I gained so much during my student teaching at Henry Elementary and was able to be mentored by some amazing teachers. Everyone has been so welcoming and has given great advice that has helped me prepare for this upcoming year! I’m thrilled to be joining the 2nd grade team and learn from them as I take on my first year!"
