Alex Johnson, Clinton Activities Director says, “When you are building an ALL IN culture of excellence, you want people on your team who will walk alongside you in both your mission and vision for the program as a whole. I believe that while Coach Carlson’s pedigree, football knowledge, and experience speak for itself, I’m most excited to see how he grows our student-athletes and programs as human beings both in the classroom and on the field. Welcome Coach Carlson!”
Coach Carlson, his wife, Kathryn, and daughter, Morgan, are looking forward to joining the Clinton community and school district. “I'm extremely thankful and honored to be the head coach of the Clinton Cardinals Football team. Clinton checks all the boxes for my family and I. Beautiful town, supportive community, hard working kids, and great administrators.
After meeting with the team last Friday, I can't wait to get this season started. Our main focus this summer will be committing to the weight room, to improve our speed, strength and toughness. We are going to work hard to give this community something to be proud of come this fall.”
Help us welcome Coach Carlson and his family to our Cardinal family!
